USUA Responds to Sport Pilot NPRM
In 2008, the FAA released NPRM #2007-29015. This NPRM proposed 22 changes to the Sport Pilot rules. USUA decided not to respond to each of the 22 items, but instead responded to the proposal that specifically addressed ultralight pilots, and how their time could count toward the issuance of a Sport Pilot certificate.
